Strokes cost money. Positions cost strokes.

The greater the variances in a golf swing and stroke the more shots will be lost. One variance equals one stroke, 3 variances equals 3 strokes. If a player has a 30 degree variance in 1 position it will cost them 3 strokes. It is why players play well and then do not.
