Always focus on what we are going to do without the past.

Performance fundamentals and instruction are different than commercial fundamentals and performance.

When commercial fundamental instruction and performance infiltrate professional golf performance and standards drop.

If we want to become better than the group get better at doing the things you have to do for yourself never things the group is doing.

Industry and network instruction based on the group narrative and opinion should not be used for fundamental standards of performance. Fundamental performance should always be based in on math and science without manipulation.

For all instructors at all levels if you speak to juniors about fundamentals be sure what you speak of is fact and they can use for the rest of their life.

When knowledge of sport is observation the knowledge cannot be used for performance standard.

Learn what is right. Do what is right.

When highlights, opinions, group instruction and groups are used for standards of performance, players won’t play well when they have to play well.

Improving your positions will improve your results.

Never change a fundamentally correct golf swing for length or ball compression.

Length and ball compression are for ball and equipment success and marketing never for fundamental success.

Analysis of ball flight is 1/500th of what creates a flight.

Ball flights are indications of manipulations and should never be used for what is right unless swing and strokes are fundamentally correct without manipulation.

Some of the best golf swings in the world have incorrect course management making mindsets believe what they are doing is incorrect.

Built correct fundamentals can be used for the rest of life at all levels of golf.

Be careful watching golf, announcers and commentators will make stock shots extremely difficult and intentionally exciting for viewers and audience.

Paying attention to things that don’t matter takes away from time paying attention to things that matter.

Know when it’s luck.

When using math and science the only reason for failure is being influenced by an outside source.

“Likes“ is not a standard for what is right.

When golf swings have variances the variances add strokes.

Club, ball monitors and fittings do not improve fundamental performance or positioning.

Make golf swings don’t hit golf balls.

Never use instruction and golf information based on highlight as standards for performance.

When players with swing variances go on offense to make birdies they make double bogies. When players with swing variances try not to make double bogies they do not make birdies.

We’re not going to know when we win but we are going to win.

While players are not getting better the game is changing to driver wedge on par 4s, reaching par 5’s in 2 shots lowering scores giving the impression of success without performance. As cut lines increasing and heading to -7 to -8 under par, players are playing 10 par 4’s with driver and a wedge, 4 par 5s with driver and mid iron into greens for the second shot.

When shafts are on plane and bodies are not impact will suffer.

Building a golf swing need only happen once. If it is built correctly the first time, it will enjoy a life of goals and success, when it is not it will live a life of opinion and manipulation.

Anytime swing variances exceeds 15 degrees front to back yardage will be compromised immediately. Any time swing variances exceed 30 degrees front to back yardages will require luck.

When players have variances greater then 30 degrees they will not know when they play well and compromise when they have to play well in cuts ands earning status.

Never use ball flights for measurements of position, part, action and directional performance unless swing and strokes produce zero degree flights and rolls without manipulation.

It is not a good idea to change or manipulate fundamentals and standards to make equipment or instruction narratives and opinions work.

Commercial, media and social instruction used to create narrative, continuous change, manipulative analysis using feelings should not be used for fact of performance standards.

Players becoming experts are continuously performing simple tasks over a long period of time perfecting positions, parts, actions and directions becoming the performance standard.

Mastery, discipline and progress are results of doing what is suppose to be done before we do what we want to do.

Ball flights are illusions of fundamental success and indications of manipulations.

In order for balls to fly straight without manipulation players have to be in certain positions at certain times throughout the golf swing, how a player gets there develops personal style. The greater the variances in the positions the greater variance in the ball flight creating predicability of performance.

Manipulating physical movements, swings and strokes to make technology and equipment work does not increase playing performance only success for the equipment, technology and commercial success never for the player performance.

Ball flights and rolls do not determine what is right in fundamental performance. Ball flights do indicate manipulations.

Flights and rolls are indications of manipulations unless golf swings are fundamentally correct.

Paying attention to ball flights before swings are completed become opinion and manipulation of a players time and effort.

If a player has a swing flaw and the ball goes straight the player will never fix their swing flaws.

Verbal instruction will mean nothing unless position, parts, actions and directions have been measured using filmed swing and stroke analysis from face on and down the line views.

Teaching aids are for teachers.

Correction of positions, parts or actions when previous positions, parts or actions are incorrect will be a waste of time.

Equipment variances in clubs and balls have been allowed and now exceed physical performance.

The best golfers will be determined when golfers play with the same equipment, until then who’s best is a variable based on manipulated marketing.

Very little if any correct fundamental instruction is going on at the junior golf level.
